Jose was very accommodating and easy to talk to. The house was very homey and convenient to essential shopping. We will be very open to staying there again!

My family and I had an amazing time at Jose's place. It's a great place to unwind and relax, with so much to do at the house and nearby if you want to be active, or else just read a book in a lounge chair under a palm tree. We ranged in age from 9 - 84 years old and all of us were very comfortable and had such a fun time together. The house is thoughtfully set up and we loved all the amenities- especially the screened in porch, kayaks and paddle boards, and having our own heated pool! The large back yard feels private while still being near the main drag, the canal, etc... This was our first time in the FL keys and the location was also great for exploring the area-Sombrero Beach, Crane's Hammock and kayaking to Dockside are a stone's throw away. Finally, Jose was an impeccable host, checking in, responding immediately to questions, asking if we needed anything. He even had a reading light sent to me for my bottom bunk! We definitely recommend and hope to return someday.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Pina with our 4 mo. baby and her grandparents. The house had more than enough room for the five of us and was well equipped with a pack & play and highchair for our little one. Jose was so hospitable by making sure the house was comfortable and even offered some recommendations for local restaurants and activities. We stayed in February so it was a little chilly but Jose made sure the pool was the perfect temperature and we were still able to use it each day despite the cooler temps. The house had a great dock and was at the end of a quiet channel so we were able to easily dock our 24’ rental pontoon boat. There were many manatee sightings. We LOVED the Nespresso machine. Lastly, the location couldn’t have been better, the house is a short walk to the supermarket and several restaurants. It is not the quaintest neighborhood for walks but convenience certainly made up for it and we were still able to take some long walks to Sombrero beach and the marina.

Overall great stay! Jose is an amazing host, very responsive! We loved the heated pool, great dockage, great location, comfy beds, kitchen fully equipped, outside patio wonderful to hang out on, and family loved the game room. We did have a few hiccups though... the day we arrived the marina was closed so we had to use a public ramp to put the boat in, the fire pit outside was missing, some lightbulbs were out (Jose sent more right away), and the TV on the patio had been broken by previous guests After the 2nd night, the hot water heater blew, but Jose had someone out to fix it within hours. The electrical panel was a little finicky, we thought because of the hot water issue, but the pool heater tripped it multiple times during our stay even though he had an electrician come out The linens while clean are a little old and could use a refresh. Wasn't very fond of the couch covers... Agree with others comments about dog allergies Despite all, would come back and would recommend!

Jose's Marathon house was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving getaway. The ocean, beaches, restaurants and grocery stores were all easily accessible. The wifi was perfect which was important as we had to work a little bit each day. Jose was very easy to communicate with and quickly had issues resolved. He even had the pool heater installed while we were there which was perfect for our two Florida mermaids (little girls). The house provided plenty of things to do on rainy days and the neighbors across the canal were very friendly to us and our kids. It was also very nice being able to bring our dog! If you have dog allergies, it is definitely smart to bring your allergy meds! Overall, we are thankful for the house and Jose's care for us during our trip.
