There is a traditional market twice a week. Sheringham is home to the Poppy Line, The North Norfolk Steam Railway, and this is the jewel in Sheringham’s crown. This attraction, run by volunteers is the focal point for many events over the year, including the famous 1940s weekend held in September. There is something going on in Sheringham all year round run by a dedicated Carnival Committee. Sheringham Carnival held in August is a real treat for all the family, with tradition at its core.
