We were in contact with MadeComfy throughout the entire week leading up to our stay and asked to check in early since our train arrived in the early morning. They said we could not check in until 3pm because the place had to be cleaned after the prior guests. We understood that, but communication had been made throughout the week, and they knew when we arrived in Melbourne. We followed the check-in instructions at 3pm as discussed and opened the lock box to no key. It took an hour to reach MadeComfy. We were stranded on the side of the road, receiving no responses after calling, emailing, and messaging multiple times. In all, it took over 3 hours for the situation to be resolved as MadeComfy told us that the cleaning services needed 5-6 more hours to clean the Airbnb. We ended up having to find another place to stay in the city after an incredibly stressful afternoon. If you book with MadeComfy, expect a long delay in communication when things go wrong.

"Great location just steps from the beach! The house is clean, offering a comfortable stay. However, it's worth noting that the carpark access remote wasn't provided, even though it's listed as an included amenity. This oversight impacted our convenience, and we recommend ensuring future guests have access for a smoother experience."
