The good: (1) Great location with the rear of the property bordering the Palace. (2) Really cool, bespoke design and decoration. (3) Well-insulated. (4) Two good parking spaces. (5) Nice cats dropping in to say hello. The bad: (1) There was no mobile coverage for our networks in this area. Beware that you might not be able to make emergency phone calls. (2) The instructions for the heating system were useless. We eventually found the control panel in the broom cupboard. Were on the verge of calling the emergency line for help but couldn't anyway because of the above. (3) It wasn't immediately obvious to us how to lock the front door. I guess because it's a multipoint lock but doesn't look like a normal PVC multipoint door. Not something you want to find out just before going to bed. (4) Could be wrong but I don't think there's any ground floor heating apart from the wood burner. This could be a bit annoying if you weren't in the mood to tend to a fire.

This is a really beautiful, ultra clean, well appointed place to stay. We stayed for 10 days and I could have lived there! Such good value given how nice it is. Loved the fireplace and there is a really nice pub just a stones throw away. It was so easy to communicate via email and I was responded to very quickly. Certainly recommend!

Stayed here with some friends recently. Very easy check, nice and clean on arrival and fantastic location with respect to surrounding areas: Woodstock, Hanborough (trains to Oxford), Bladon, Blenheim Palace. My only criticism is that the garden was incredibly overgrown which is a shame as it could've been a nice area to relax in. However the grass was so long, as well as lot of trees and bushes overgrown making the area pretty redundant. If the garden area was improved would be a 5 star review otherwise. Asides from that enjoyable stay.
