Great house, truly in the middle of everything. Several local restaurants within walking distance. One of the local grocery stores is literally across the street. Wonderful observation deck up top, which, BTW is a great place to watch the sun come up over the ocean if you are willing to get up that early. The manager was veryhelpful on arrival and departure and offered several services while we were there.

The house was exactly as expected per description and photos, very nicely prepared - even the beach in front was cleared and raked on a regular basis - with delightful sunrise views over the sea from the balcony and roof terrace. Very spacious and clean. Close to bars/restaurants whilst far enough away not to hear the vibrant music. Communication and assistance in advance and whilst staying was superb, and included organising a great private snorkel trip which picked us up from the beach. The house was in a typical Belizean neighbourhood: some properties run down with the usual tied up dog out front and relaxed attitude to rubbish/tidiness. This was fine for us, as we prefer to stay in ‘real’ locations rather than in a rarefied resort type environment, but this may not appeal to everyone. If buying groceries, we recommend avoiding the supermarket nearby (overcharges/out of date produce), and using the one further south or smaller one to the north. For us, a great holiday home.

Perfect stay from start to finish. Mirko was awesome with accommodations and help with getting to and from the location along with additional excursions and scheduled massages. Really can’t wait to go back.

It was a fun place to stay. The house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the food in Hopkins. Mirka the property manager was very informative when we checked in. Thanks for the hospitality.

Our stay at the Mellow Yellow Beach house was perfect. We enjoyed the location downtown and in close proximity to one of the grocery markets and a number of great restaurants. The house is wonderfully cared for and was the perfect beach location for our family. Mirko was very responsive and is able to help with booking any tours and even spa services on site, although we had only a short stay so did not book anything. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Mellow Yellow Beach House!
