This was a perfect stay for three mama's headed to a homeschool convention in Cloquet. There was plenty of room for two introverts to spread out, as well room to connect with this extrovert. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

We were only there for a quick overnight stay, but I would stay again when I’m in the area longer. There was more than enough room for my friend and I - this place definitely can hold more people. We relaxed in front of the fireplace a bit before we went sleep. Didn’t have time to cook anything, but the kitchen is well-equipped. We got to pet the cat (Penny) each time we went in and out, as she was right there waiting for us. As a cat person, that was a nice bonus!

Cute place with a fun history. Beds were soft and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Hosts were responsive and answered our questions quickly. Could hear the slightest of pitter patter of little feet in the morning but otherwise very quiet for the age of the building. Their friendly cats spent most of our trip hanging at the entrance- greeting us when we came and went and even showed up at the windows to check-in while we were making breakfast.

The place was rather large perfect if you have a family, and has a lot to offer for adults and children. Previously there were mentions regarding the place being cold it got down to the mid-30s and it didn't appear to be an issue between the fireplace and heaters. Not far from the state park and other locations stop reading...and go check this place out.
