De tog imod os med et kram og en masse anbefalinger af strande/restauranter m.m Du skal have en bil for at bo her. Der ligger ikke ret meget ved siden af. Godt nok ligger bageren 15 min væk, men det er hårdt at gå op af den. Har du en bil så er det et fedt sted at bo og du kommer ihvertfald til at sove godt. Vi sluttede af med at få 2 x gaver.. Honning, juice og chokolade bar til børnene og derefter fik vi 2 dåser olivenolie direkte fra deres eget træ. Jeg skal helt klart tilbage dertil.

Georgias Villa hat uns fantastisch gut gefallen. Wir waren 10 Tage da und haben das uneinsehbare Pool sehr genossen. Die Raumaufteilung in der Villa ist perfekt und man hat von jedem Schlafraum aus Zugang zur Terasse. Das Wohnzimmer und die gut ausgestattete Küche sind äußerst geräumig. So viel privaten Raum hat man in anderen Ferienunterkünften selten. Die Villa ist Georgias Elternhaus und die ganze Familie hat sich mit Ideen eingebracht. Man merkt, dass jedes Detail durchdacht ist. Überall gibt es Jalousien und Fliegengitter. Wenn man für viele Leute kocht, ist man auch im Urlaub für den Geschirrspüler dankbar und die aircondition in den einzelnen Räumen war aufgrund der heißen Temperaturen sehr willkommen. Wenn man die Westküste Kretas kennenlernen möchte, würde ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen bei Georgia zu wohnen. Wir haben die Strände von Balos, Elafonissi und natürlich Falassarna erkundet, einer schöner als der andere. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und Tavernen sind ganz in der Nähe.

We spent a wonderful week in Villa Nostalgia. Fabulous set up, spacious villa with tasteful decor. Air con was very welcomed! Lovely outdoor space, cute pool to cool off. The villa is in an unspoilt area. A small shop 2 mins away for the essentials with a larger shop 15 mins walk away. 10 minute drive to the local beaches in Falasarna which we loved. Definitely recommend ALEA great beach bar, fab food, lovely sunset views and friendly staff with great service. This was our favourite beach too. 5 min drive to a fab bakery that also does pizzas (Bakery Coffee Boulangerie Tsatsaronaki). At Balos is a lovely lagoon, but I would recommend the ferry from Kissamos rather than drive, road up the mountain is not for the faint hearted nor is the climb back up from the beach in the heat! All in all a wonderful place to stay. We would love to go back to Villa Nostalgia and Falasarna. Thank you to Georgia, her son and daughter for being excellent hosts!

We were met by Rubini, Georgia's daughter and Georgia herself. We were shown around the villa and given a run down if things to do. The villa was spotless and has everything you need, every room has a/c and a TV. Georgia's son Elpi cleaned the pool every other day, so that remained nice and clean for the duration of our stay. Georgia's sister owns a restaurant down on Fasalrna beach called Elea's. We would fully recommend this as you say on edge of beach watching the sun go down and food was excellent. We cannot thank the family enough for the way they looked after us all week.
