Go ahead and BOOK this airbnb !!! The place is absolutely GORGEOUS, breathtaking, tranquil, and therapeutic. I enjoyed the views of the lake, the proximity to stores and shops, and the interior of the house. Alice did me a huge favor by letting me host more than 5 guest for my grandmother's honorary, celebration. My family was extremely impressed and in awe with Alice's place and the lake. Alice had plenty of household supplies; towels, linens, dishes, paper products, cleaning essentials, etc. The house has modern decor, a playroom, and a massive porch. I would recommend bringing bug spray, lighting incense, or plugging a fan up bc the porch isn't screened. In all honestly that truly was the only con, and we found solutions to overcome the mosquitoes. This has been one of THEE BEST airbnb's I have stayed in. Alice you have a GEM and you have done a spectacular job maintaining Bowen Bungalow.

Our stay on the lake exceeded expectations. We were in town for 3 weeks and felt right at home as soon as we checked in. Alice was extremely helpful, responsive, and an overall excellent host to our family. The house was clean, well maintained, free of clutter, and stocked with everything we needed. I was able to use the desk in one of the bedrooms to work remotely - no issues with WiFi. The neighbors are all super friendly and there is an excellent church just minutes away (New Prospect Baptist) that excels at hospitality and biblical faithfulness. The mountains are a short drive away. We enjoyed hikes at DuPont and Chimney Rock state parks. Anchor park is minutes away and a great place to watch the sunset while the kids play. Beautiful country drives to take in all directions. I can’t recommend this location enough… you won’t regret booking here!!
