Riverhaus was a dream! We wanted to get away for the weekend and Riverhaus provided! Its secluded with private access to a creek/river, yet right up the road from the square with ample restaurants and shopping! Will definitely be recommending this house and the Wimberly area for others to visit.

Our family had a great time! We can’t wait to go back! Yes, it is right the highway- but it won’t bother you a bit. Very peaceful- it was immaculate! Beds were comfy. 10 out of 10! I definitely recommend!

It seemed perfect. Until - AC leaking, pretty darn good, so we were unable to run it at all. We let them know and they offered to send someone out. However, a little later after the AC issues, we noticed mice droppings, a lot of them. Across the bed, the pillow cases, walls, windows, baseboards, I mean they had been partying a while. Feeling kind of nauseated, I went and checked our room. Sure enough same in there, and in kitchen and in living room. I said I hate to tell you this but they had a mouse problem. Silence, I kept waiting but I finally stripped everything and cleaned with Clorox. We swept and sanitized every inch of the house we saw droppings. We had family already on the way and they had already been driving a while! We couldn’t let them walk into that. They finally got back to me a while later and offered to bring sheets but we had already cleaned. That night two mice came out to play and then again while we were sleeping. $1200 and paid a clean fee when we had to clean!

Lovely house in a lovely location. As described. Enjoyed our stay there very much. Close to all the things, yet the house offered being immersed in nature. Would happily return.
