Great place to unwind

Our family truly enjoyed everything this home had to offer from a well stocked kitchen (Keurig & coffee maker options, complete dish servings for 12, cookie sheets, large mixing bowls, various sized pots & pans, any utensils desired, double oven, and an ice maker and second refrigerator on the first floor to name a few). The only thing we used that we carried was an electric griddle for pancakes. The unit provided 2 spare propane tanks for the gas grill. We spent most of our time outside in and out of the pool & hot tub, playing corn hole, dancing & socializing & toured the beauty of the area on our bikes. The real charm was cruising out on Lake Norman from the dock on our pontoon boat. We utilized the paddle boats and kayaks and cast a fishing line or two. Lines, towels and back up bedding were plentiful and the laundry room conveniently stationed near the kitchen made this task not a chore. We even utilized the utility sink after craft night on the only rainy day we had.

Although it was a beautiful location and the house was great , there were a few things that could have been remedied before we arrived. Checking the kitchen appliances and linen supply before arrival could help avoid inconvenience of these things not working or not enough sheets and towels for the guests.

We stayed for a large family reuinion with 12 people. Everyone enjoyed the location and home greatly as it is eye catching. The host was responsive and addressed all issues promptly to help us get the hot tub running. They also gave us a reccomendation for boat rental that was hassel free and delivered the pontoon boat to the home dock so it was super simple. We plan to do it again at this location soon as it was truely perfect.
