Dom's place is in a beautiful, remote hamlet, an ideal location for a family weekend of walking and exploring the North Yorkshire Dales. lots of attractions to visit with children of that's your preference. The house is exactly what is stated. local pub was great-cash only or bank transfer, super friendly along with the locals. would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Dom’ cottage in the tiny hamlet of Horsehouse. Coverdale is very peaceful and we had some great walks.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay, just what we were looking for. The house was perfect, everything we needed. We cooked and there was everything we needed to cook for a family of four in the kitchen, we were not missing anything. There are no local shops so as long as you preplan what you need, you will be fine. Lots of beautiful walks, we managed over 50km in three days. The pub looked lovely but we didn’t have time to go! 😂Our favourite was lighting the fire and playing board games in the evening. If you want a break from life, this is the perfect place. Thank you for the wine, that helped with the kids! 😂We would definitely come again.

Wow where do I start.. Thank you Dom for having us. The cottage; absolutely perfect, everything you would need there already, even a pint of milk on arrival! Perfect. Lovely and homely, games and loads of books of the area of walks and places to see. Lovely neighbours as well. The area; nice little pub a few doors down that has a gorgeous garden to sit in. Was wonderful hearing and seeing all the lambs. Beautiful little walks and gorgeous waterfalls close by. Was honestly a wonderful weekend. I would highly recommend to everyone and we are already planning when we can come back. Thank you so much.
