This house is on a very large parcel that has access to timber as wells as the Rush River. If you like trout fishing, this is a great place to stay. It was clean and had everything we needed, although we really don't need much. Everything worked as it should and Mark was very responsive to any needs. Overall a very good experience for our drift less trout fishing trip.

A friend group met at Mark's place for a weekend—a convenient spot halfway between where we all live. The property definitely feels secluded and surrounded by nature, especially with the Rush River gurgling nearby. We were glad March gave us beautifully warm temps so we didn't have to navigate the long driveway in snow or ice! Mark was a very thorough, helpful, and friendly communicator. He texted back right away when I asked where to find spare light bulbs. We loved the open kitchen-living room area to gather and talk while cooking up a good meal. Note that the wood stove is not for guest use—something we didn't realize (it's not mentioned as an amenity, but also not noted otherwise so we assumed from the photos). Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed the country cabin. Our group was there for a wedding, and it was the perfect hanging out spot in between festivities. The cabin was very serene, cozy, and had lots of wildlife on the property. It is outside Ellsworth and on a country road so if you're looking for a walkable location this listing isn't for you. The host was very responsive in any questions we had.
