After moving my daughter out of her freshman dorm at App State, my husband and I had to most relaxing long weekend at Amy's place! It was perfect! We loved the quiet, beautiful area that was still close to Boone, Banner Elk, and even Tennessee (check out Smoky Mountain Bakers)! The place was immaculate, the kitchen well stocked, and we felt right at home. We loved it so much we wanted to book it for August when we move my daughter into her apartment but, unfortunately, someone beat us to it (fingers crossed they cancel). Highly recommend!!!

Cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Very nice setup that felt very roomy and comforting. The gravel road leading up to the property is very tight and my truck was a bit difficult to fit through the roadway without hitting vegetation near the top of the hill. Several smaller pot holes are also along the route but can be accessed with a sedan without too much worry! Would stay again for sure!

Great spot for our weekend trip! Between Boone & Banner Elk, which we loved being able to go to both places in the same distance. Peaceful, private place. Saw lots of wildlife! Clean, cozy, and had everything we needed.

I recently spent a month at this location on a long term stay while waiting to close on a house in the area and I have nothing but positive things to say about the location or the host. This quiet little cabin is at the end of a gravel road on the side of a mountain and is the definition of peace and quiet. The location and the included amenities allowed me a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay without need or worry other than what food should I buy and what did I feel like cooking for supper at night. The host was also wonderful, responsive and informative when needed and unobtrusive otherwise. I only had a couple of questions across the entirety of my stay but those were answered quickly, competently and most importantly politely. I would recommend this location to anyone that is looking for a place where they can get away from the noise and just truly experience and enjoy the sights and sounds of the mountains but still have all the modern amenities we are used to.
