we really enjoyed our stay in Patty's home. it is quaint and well decorated. The bed and the linens were comfortable, the shower had good pressure. A few things to know before booking. if you are traveling with someone who has mobility issues, this may not be an ideal location. the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are steep. There is only one bathroom. Also, you are across the street from a hospital. like all hospitals, it is busy every day, all day. if you are a light.sleeper, this may not be ideal.

Amazing location close to the Saturday farmers’ market and shops downtown. Street parking was no trouble on the weekend, but became more difficult on Monday when people were presumably parking for work at the hospital across the street. The location was quiet but the house itself was very loud. The listing mentions this building is old, and that is very true—the extremely squeaky floors were tough for the light sleepers in our family when someone needed to get up for the bathroom etc. Sound isolation was especially difficult because none of the interior doors closed in their frames. Beds and linens were very comfortable, however. A/C worked great. We enjoyed the front porch swing and the back screen porch, and the kitchen was outfitted well.

We enjoyed our stay here, the location was perfect - very close to town and it was an easy to walk to lots of restaurants / shops. There was also access to walking / biking trails close by. The beach was a quick drive

We spent 9 days at Patty's house. The place is really nice and packed with everything to feel comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with all possible 'tools' - so we felt right at home. The house is about 1 mile from the beach, so a car would be needed. There is no 'designated' parking per se, but there were plenty of street parking spots right in front of the house so we didn't have any problem. Overall Patty's house is a very good place to have for a few days during your vacation. Patty was very friendly and responsive. Thank you! All in all - we definitely recommend it!
