We stayed for 2 nights and despite couple of issues that I contacted Elaine about we enjoyed our first get away together.

This is advertised as a 2 bedroom chalet, however the 2nd bedroom is in a corridor. The fact is that to go to the bathroom from the lounge/living area you have to pass through bedroom 2, to go the bathroom from the master bedroom you have to go through bedroom 2. Therefore bedroom 2 is a corridor and anyone sleeping there is going to be constantly disturbed. The chalet was cold and there was only a small eclectic heater that I would not be happy leaving on all night, there was no heating in the main bedroom and the bathroom/toilet smelt of damp. This maybe ok in the height of summer but not practical to advertise and rent in October. We obviously did not stay. We have asked for a refund but the host is refusing at present and still maintains that it is a 2 bedroom chalet! This has been our worst experience with AirBnB

Good place to stay for exploring wildlife etc on Sheppey. Fairly basic, but adequately equipped. Somewhat limited heating, so maybe best in the summer months. Comfortable armchair / sofa and Sky TV makes for pleasant viewing. Seemed a little expensive for the facilities offered, but overall a good stay.
