John’s home was perfect for our girls weekend on the north fork of Long Island. It was close to all vineyards, breweries and local restaurants. The outside deck area was the cherry on top of the home. Perfect lighting, multiple ceiling fans, BBQ and plenty of seating. Both beds were very comfortable. The sound is walking distance from the home, but just remember the north shore of Long Island is hilly- so expect some cardio involved. It is very worth it though! John was very quick with his responses. He checked in to make sure everything was going well, especially check in. I would highly recommend coming here to see the country side of Long Island.

John’s cottage was in such a quaint little cottage park community. The neighbors were friendly and even willing to help. It is the type of place where everyone knows eachother and have been coming to for years. Everything inside the cottage was pristine and you can tell selected with care. The beds and pillows and linens were great! I will say it is small inside. The 2 bedrooms are well equipped with a queen bed, a dresser and an AC unit however it was very tight quarters. The living room and kitchen space are also small but the outdoor patio makes up for it! Great outdoor living room and dining area with a bbq and black stone grill I didn’t see any pots/pans to cook on the stovetop indoors. Otherwise they have a full stocked pantry and even a full bag of ice in the freezer which was nice. I did find the price point a bit high since the cottage is pretty small otherwise everything else was perfect! John was super responsive and a very nice host

The place was very nice. The great beautiful outdoor patio with a wooden roof, two big fans and lighting. We spent most of our time on this patio which was cool even on hot summer days. Recently renovated kitchen. Outdoor shower is a very pleasant addition. At first, the number of beds was not as described in the listing. But John was very responsive, he made an effort to come over and opened an extra bedroom for us (which was not initially listed). So, all four of us had our own sepearte beds and slept comfortably. My daughter, two grandkids and I spent a great week at John's place, and I would ecommend it for summer vacation.

John's bungalow was the perfect getaway! It was peaceful and cozy with a beach vibe which fits because it is a five-minute walk to the water. Everything you would need for a weekend by the beach was made available by the host. It has made it to our list of places to stay when in the area! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us, we absolutely loved it.

John was friendly and responsive. The beach bungalow was as pictured and appeared to be recently renovated/updated, and the large covered deck was a great place to hang out, relax, or eat a meal. The quaint beach bungalow community is a hidden gem! We would definitely consider staying here in the future.
