Amazing house in the Chania mountains. The owner of the house, Nikos, was the most hospitable person. Always responsive, full of great recommendations and so lovely !! we don't often go back to the same place twice, but will most definitely return.

A fabulous villa in the mountains. Peaceful and so relaxing. Our host, Nikos, was marvellous! He couldn’t do enough for us. When we arrived he greeted us personally and had provided a beautiful fruit basket, homemade cake, Raki, wine and a selection of refrigerated and store cupboard basics! We did not have car and arrived when the taverna in the village was set to close. He rung the owner and arranged for him to stay open for us and then drove us there and back. He also asked the owner if he could deliver food to us on another day if we were stuck (which the owner kindly did) Nikos offered to drive us to various places and when he couldn’t, arranged for a family friend to do so. Nikos even went and got us some shopping from the supermarket. He was there when we needed him and bought us some delicious bakes on our penultimate day. What a guy! Such a great host. The villa itself is beautiful and has been lovingly restored by Nikos over 17 years. Village is so friendly - felt at home.

Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt! Die Lage des Hauses ist atemberaubend und die Strände gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Gegend ist sehr abgelegen aber genau so wollten wir es. Das Haus war wunderschön und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr freundlich, flexibel und schnell. Wir sind sehr dankbar für die Gastfreundschaft, die wir erfahren durften.

We had an amazing stay. The villa is absolutely beautiful and perfect for enjoying some quite days with a group of friends. It is located in a very quite area in the mountains, so it is little drive up from Chania (30min). Nikos, the host, was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants, cafes and places to visit. He welcomed us with a big fruit basket and brought some homemade pastries during our stay. The weather wasn't the best, unfortunately a lot of rain, but we still enjoyed our stay a lot. We had some problems with hot water (probably because of the bad weather conditions) but Nikos took care of it very quickly and sent a plumber. We can definitely recommend the villa and would love to come back!

C'est le Bnb dont nous avions rêvé ! Superbe villa nichée dans les montagnes à l'écart du tumulte de la canee en plein mois d'août (30mn en voiture) parfaitement équipée, propreté et literie de qualité au rendez-vous. Piscine, barbecue, terrasse face aux montagnes où l'on n'entend que les cigales et grelots des chèvres au loin. Pour couronner le tout, Nikkos est un hôte incroyable qui se mue en véritable guide au besoin, distille de précieux conseils et fait même goûter la délicieuse cuisine de sa mère. Nous reviendrons et recommandons chaudement !
