Algoma Mills is a rural, picturesque village surrounded by water on the North Channel of Lake Huron and the shores of Lake Lauzon.
• The property includes about 7 acres of land, with over 1200 feet of shore line. Included is a private boat launch and a private beach.
• Lake Lauzon has over 140 kilometers of shore with most of the lake on crown land. This is a clear, natural lime lake.
• A walk away is Wilson's Market providing an LCBO and food market; Clarence's Smoked Fish Market; and the Pottery & Arts shop with hosts Cory & Less Booker.
• The public beach is close by. It has a court for beach volley ball and a playground for young children.
• The Lookout Road is a nice walk. It takes you to the deck with stationary binoculars that allow guests to view the North Channel of Lake Huron.
• A 10 minute drive west brings you to the community of Blind River where you can find The Timber Village Museum, a selection of restaurants, downtown services, Blind River Marina, and the Boom Camp Trails.
• A 20 minute drive north east of the Resort is the community of Elliot Lake which offers a choice in shopping, walking, ATV, & snow machine trails. The Elliot Lake Fire Tower offers an amazing view of the area. You can walk a trail or drive to the tower.

The main road is the Trans Canada Highway 17.
The residential streets and trails are suitable for walkers, ATVs, bicycles, and baby strollers.
