The property is located just a few yards (or metres, if you prefer) from the sea and Salcombe's prom. It is also above one of the main thoroughfares (pedestrian) from the small town centre to the front and first thoughts were that it might get a little bit noisy as the pubs and restaurants closed - but, not a bit of it. We were there for new year's eve, and barely heard a peep from any revellers outside. For those with very severe mobility problems, the stairs might prove to be a bit of an issue but, once inside, the property is extremely 'user friendly' with the open plan dining area, lounge, kitchen, one bedroom, and 'downstairs bathroom' all located on the same level, with further bedrooms and bathroom up another level. There were plenty of pots and pans, plates, cutlery etc provided and all the kitchen appliances were clean and worked well. (somewhere to hang a hand towel and tea towel in the kitchen would be a good addition) We all enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Sweetcombe was fantastic. The location was ideal - right in town, across the road from the beach, yet really quiet. The house was spacious and comfortable for 8, with very stylish decor, comfortable living space and bedrooms, really well-equipped kitchen, and spotless bathrooms with excellent showers. It was also really cozy for a Winter break.

Great property in prime location in Sidmouth, just opposite Dukes. Clean, nice new furnishings and equipment and deceptively spacious. From the outside it has the look of a long narrow property, so i expected rooms would be divided by a corridor: not at all! With the staircases central, rooms on both floors open into common space and it has a very open plan feel. Views down to the sea and promenade. Communication with owners clear throughout. Weather great too, so we had a fantastic time. Thanks again

Lovely apartment in a great location. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Super close to the sea front, restaurants, pub and shops! Great weekend, would happily stay here again.

Well located in the heart of Sidmouth this is a very comfortable and well appointed apartment for a small group. Easy check in, good amenities. Highly recommend the Pea Green Boat restaurant nearby.
