The Cherry Cottage is a lovely place to stay in. It felt like home from the moment we opened the door. It was exactly as described. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy living room with a fireplace, comfortable beds, perfect bathrooms and toilets, with showers and a bath. The heating system was working perfectly and it was warm and cosy inside, despite cold and wet weather. The host was always available to answer any questions we had, during the booking as well as during our stay. We even got a generous welcome pack - which was nice to see after a long drive. The wi-fi available, few games for kids and selection of books. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Thank you.

We had a fabulous stay and greatly enjoyed this super comfortable house. It’s spacious, warm and well-equipped which was wonderful to come back to after day trips exploring Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal. Thank you and we can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay in Castlegal. The hosts were fantastic, attentive but it also felt like it was our home for a couple of week. It was clean, tidy and even nicer in real life. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the near future.

What a beautiful stay we had in Castlegal. Barbara welcomed us heartily and couldn't have been more helpful with tips and advice on where to go and what to do. Very clear instructions for the use of the house. Some really thoughtful goodies awaited us on arrival with some really sweet welcoming touches. The house was immaculately clean. There were some kitchen provisions and cleaning products which were really helpful. The house itself was very thoughtfully decorated - both charming and cosy. Our three little rugrats were well catered for with books, lego and toys to entertain them not to mention tv and netflix. The location was second to none. Beautiful mountain range outside the house with Bundoran and Mullaghmore only 15 minutes drive. Local village Grange had a Supervalu and a play centre which came in very handy. Overall, fantastic stay! A big go raibh míle maith agat to our hosts!

Barbara is delightful and goes the extra mile to welcome you to her beautiful home. We had a lovely stay. The house is homely and peaceful. A perfect base to explore rhe North West.
