Great stay. It's got the charm of a farm but you're not far from good restaurants and all the stores you might need. Also, host is friendly and made everything possible for us, even a tractor ride for just our family even though the tractor is for a group. Fun place for a family.

The cottage was cozy and perfect for family time. Loved that we had enough space to play board games and cook. The sunroom was a beautiful place to eat, and we enjoyed walking around and seeing the animals on the farm. A few minor maintenance issues to be expected from an older property, but overall it felt very private and comfortable and we would stay again!

Auerfarm is a unique and beautiful experience. My son and I were able to walk around the farm freely and there is plenty to see including: farm animals, nature trails, a “play forest” and even a secret path that leads to a large reservoir. I had been to this farm before when I lived in the area but had no idea how much more it had to offer. The cottage was cozy, spotless and just as advertised. Erica responded to our questions within 15-20 mins and offered to help troubleshoot the internet when we were having trouble with it. Easily 5-stars and worth the value for this unique experience. We will be back!

Cozy cottage in a beautiful setting. Biggest appeal for us was that it was just a few minutes away from our family in Bloomfield - nearest hotels were in towns 15 minutes away or more. Though we didn't meet Erica, she was responsive and helpful via messages. It was chilly and muddy so we didn't take advantage of the trails (bring an extra pair of shoes!), but it was still nice to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. Only real issue we had was with the bed. My wife and I had trouble sleeping on the mattress, which was pretty stiff and lumpy. My parents stayed in the cabin next door and enjoyed their memory foam, and we didn't test the twin bed in the second bedroom.
