The property is located in "Località Paradiso" and ASSISI is the nearest town, in fact it is about 7.5 km away. It is the home of San Francesco and his female counterpart, Santa Chiara. For seven centuries Assisi was a pilgrimage destination and the area is rich in traditions linked to the two saints.
The town itself has been carefully preserved, its steep medieval streets winding between churches and pink stone houses. The house is located within a 10-hectare estate, with holm oak and oak woods where you can take beautiful walks immersed in the green Umbrian hills, in complete tranquility and privacy.
About 5 minutes by car (3 km) is the Ristorante da Giovannino, Località Ponte Grande, 89 / A, 06081 Assisi PG, where you can also taste typical products of the area, and a bar with a grocery where you can do your shopping. There you will find almost everything you may need during your stay.

How to reach the property:
By PLANE:
Perugia airport is only 10 minutes by car from Assisi, it is connected to London Stansted by Ryanair with the possibility of car rental at the airport:
- Avis (Perugia airport office);
- Hertz (Perugia - can be picked up at the airport);
Or use a comparison site like Skyscanner to find the best car rental rates. Alternatively, you can also take a Ryanair flight to Ancona (1 hour and 40 minutes by car). Depending on the season and the day of the week, flights can cost up to € 90. Like Ancona, Pescara is also well connected to the motorway towards Assisi and is preferable to the large airports of Rome, Pisa, Bologna and Florence.
Easyjet also offers cheap flights to Bologna (north of Florence and around 2.5 hours drive from Assisi) and Rome (also around 2.5 hours drive from Assisi). Rome is served by most major airlines, including British Airways and Alitalia, and most car rental companies have offices at airports. Rome is about 2.5 hours drive from Assisi. Pisa has an airport, but the city is not much closer than Rome. Easyjet and Ryanair offer excellent service Gatwick and Stansted - Florence.
You could combine your departure or arrival with a visit to Pisa and Florence.
BY CAR:
There is a toll for driving on Italian motorways (motorways). Rome is connected to the north by the A1. If you are coming from Florence, follow the A1 to the Perugia exit, shortly after that for Arezzo. From there, follow the E75 over Lake Trasimeno to Perugia, then the signs for Assisi. If you are coming from Rome, follow the A1 to Orte and then take the exit towards Perugia and Terni. Follow the E45 towards Todi and continue along the E45 until the exit for Assisi. Weekends are a good time to travel on the "highways" as trucks are not allowed on Saturdays and Sundays. Keep in mind, however, that the streets tend to be particularly busy in big cities on Saturdays.
Reach the property FROM ASSISI:
The property is located in "Località Paradiso" and is about 7.5 km from Assisi, so it takes about 10 minutes by car to get there. In Assisi take the road that runs alongside the historic center and follow the signs for GUALDO TADINO. This will take you through Piazza Matteotti and you should leave Assisi by an arched stone portal, Porta Perlici. From Assisi continue on the road to Gualdo Tadino (SS 444). About 4.3 km (or 2.7 miles) after leaving Assisi you should arrive at PONTE GRANDE, where there are two bars: the Giovannino on the left and the Moro de Ronca on the right.
Then turn left before the restaurant bar da GIOVANNINO towards Località PONTE GRANDE for 2 km and continue straight towards Località Paradiso until you find a sign PARADISO 26 on the right. Take this dirt country road keeping left for about 600 meters until you find yourself in front of a large gate which is the access to the private estate of the structure. Most likely knowing before your arrival we will leave the gate open, so you can continue on the road and park right in front of the structure. Otherwise, if you find the gate closed, just call us or ring one of the bells, so that we can open you and welcome you to the estate.
