We enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at the cottage. It’s located in beautiful peaceful surroundings and is a clean and tastefully decorated place. We were able to do a small walk from the house, a great walk up Wetherlam and enjoyed a couple of the local pubs. Thank you!

What a beautiful cottage this is. We had a lovely weekend at enjoyed the peace and awe inspiring scenery. The cottage was pristine and exactly as described. The little touches such as the bathroom essentials and the tea/coffee just added to personal touch this place has. Thank you for a lovely memorable weekend.
Highly recommend Lisa's cottage for a visit to the SW Lakes region, near to Coniston. Beautiful location on the river in the Duddon Valley & walking distance to the nearest pub in village. In addition, providing local free-range eggs & Lakes' jam for breakfast is a really nice gift for your stay.
I took my poorly father and busy daughter away for a couple days of much needed RnR and this is exactly what we got. Absolutely beautiful cottage in the most stunning setting. Everything was spotless and home from home. Lisa was super responsive and nothing seemed a bother to her. I'm already looking at dates to return. Cannot wait to return. I moved to the Lake District in 2020, having previously worked for a large building society over many years. Much of my time has been spent renovating High Bridge End house and cottage. Now with a little more time, I’m enjoying walking locally and exploring the Lakes with my husband and our dog Mac.
