Viola, her family and the team working with them are all very friendly and service minded. Genuinely kind people who made us feel very welcome. The garden is beautiful, relaxed with the shadow that comes from the large trees and high end garden furniture. It is an oasis between the busy towns of Lucca and Pisa.

Viola's place is beautiful and full of history. The main house, the gardens and the pool were perfect. You can have snacks and drinks brought to you around the pool and there's a magical evening dining option where you can eat al fresco in the most beautiful setting. The breakfast around a large rustic table full of delicious food was the best way to start the day. Viola and her family are so welcoming and friendly and made us feel completely at home. We would highly recommend Viola's place - it's very special.

Wie bedanken uns von Herzen für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Viola und ihre Familie sind die herzlichsten Gastgeber, die man sich wünschen kann. Wir reisten als vierköpfige Familie. Von der ersten Minute an haben wir uns alle wohl gefühlt, uns entspannt, es war alles ganz wunderbar! Der parkähnliche Garten ist riesengroß und ein Traum, wunderschön gepflegt, viele herrliche Besonderheiten. Der Pool ist perfekt. Obwohl das Haus ausgebucht war, hatten wir immer sehr viel Ruhe und Entspannung. Besonders zu erwähnen ist auch die Tischtennisplatte, die in einem hervorragenden Zustand ist. Das Abendessen in Buffet Form ist herrlich, frische lokale Zutaten, unkompliziert, die Weine hervorragend, der hauseigene Limoncello muss unbedingt versucht werden. Der Abschied fiel uns sehr schwer, daher werden wir auf alle Fälle wiederkommen. Das machen wir normalerweise nie, da es auf der Welt so vieles zu sehen gibt… Es war wirklich wie im Paradies.

INCREDIBLE HISTORIC STAY! Very spacious rooms, clean full bathrooms, free dinner and breakfast included with the host and owner, swimming pool, balcony, hammock… Who does all of that??? :D The property is huge! Great for couples, families, kids, older, younger, anyone really! You have your privacy, but you can also socialize with other guests. Every corner you turn there is real authentic history! The library, the paintings, the walls and the doors – are all a conversation piece. There’s also a laundry with washer and dryer free for the guests, free spacious parking, and the unit is 15 mins away from Pisa (we had forgotten why we went there because the unit on its own is a landmark), and more! There is a vintage piano in the hall that you could play. What else can you want?
