This is a great spot right on the river. It is quiet and a little off the beaten path. Great location and nice amenities.

We absolutely loved Josh’s house! It was clean, cozy, quiet, and very comfortable. We spent a weekend here with our children meeting halfway as we come from Connecticut and they came from Virginia. This worked out perfectly. Everything we needed was within a reasonable driving distance. We were able to spend some downtime, cooking (as they were missing our home cooking) and relaxing!!! The hot tub was a huge plus! Made the evenings extra special. Honestly, we would 100% stay here again.

This was a beautiful retreat for friends on a long weekend. It was drivable to DC, had a great view of the river, a gorgeous kitchen, a hot tub and covered porch, and many places or zones to sit and hang out. Rooms were cozy and had everything you needed and located nearby a cute small town. We really enjoyed our stay, and spent most of our time cooking and eating together, and relaxing in the hot tub, walking by the river. We were there on a cold weekend, so most of our time was spent indoors, but imagine it would be lovely in Spring for a return visit.

Outstanding view of the river. Quiet location. Private. House was clean. 25 min drive to Lancaster or York. Great hiking on the Mason Dixon Trail through Native Heritage Preserve with views of River. Kitchen well stocked. Didn’t use hot tub but it looked ok. It’s an old house that has been fixed up so a couple of things like the popcorn ceiling and floor vents are dated. Kitchen and bathroom modern. It’s very comfortable and clean.

Amazing place. The only thing that felt weird was the fishing spot that was described as avail. Two different people had questioned us about what we were doing there two separate times. They had said it was private property. After explaining where we were staying they said it was fine.
