The pictures do not do the place justice! The pictures are exactly what the house looks like, but it's even more spacious, clean, and comfortable than the photos seem. The house very easily holds the 8-10 people it advertises. The hot tub out back is clean and feels private enough to be relaxing. Overall, a secluded area to relax with a beautiful lake-side view. Josh lays out local recommendations, is very responsive, and is easy to communicate with. Would consider booking another stay!
We had a lovely stay! Plenty of kitchen supplies, utensils, and dishes, and the hot tub was great! Everything matched the descriptions. We were running low on a household supply, and the host dropped off more to us within an hour. Added bonus - only a short drive away from the Turkey Hill Experience! I would stay here again when traveling to the Wrightsville or Columbia area.
First of all I have to say that I had booked Josh's home over a year ago and from start to finish I had nothing but a wonderful experience with working with him to make this the perfect weekend. This was a family wedding and what a perfect spot. Josh was so accommodating in every way. We had such a great time, his home was a wonderful place for us to gather a few days before the wedding and enjoy the area. The home was beautiful and very roomy for all of our guest. I would highly recommend this and also it was so close to the wedding venue which again, Josh explained that to me at the time of booking.
This house is 1/2 way between my son's house and my house. We met there for Thanksgiving. We picked it for the location but got so much more! The layout was perfect for cooking and eating since the kitchen opens to dinning room. Kids enjoyed the hot tub! After dinner we watched a family movie in the family room. We didn't do any fishing/boating but enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and hiked a local trail. The community was very quiet and i'm assuming this area is mostly vacation homes but there were a few boats on the lake. My family had a great Thanksgiving.
We had a wonderful time at the Boathouse. The house was inviting and clean. There was plenty of room for ten of us and our two dogs. Very good for a relaxing get away with the family. Thank you Josh

We find ourselves busy with sporting events and work travel so we don’t get to stay at the home as much as we would like. So we thought we would let others enjoy our peaceful retreat.
