Just home after a weekend in Bayview house it was a beautiful country Irish Home, the house was spotless and cosy and had everything you needed, Helan met us upon arrival and showed us around she was very friendly and had baked scones for us coming which I thought was a beautiful touch, the garden was great and we were able to close the gates and secure it for the toddler and dog.

Helen was a lovely host, and we had a lovely stay at her place. There were some lovely fresh scones to greet us and a booklet with restraunt options and activities. One of the recommendations was the Alpaca walk, and i must admit it was my personal favourite of the whole trip! As for the place, I couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend. Thank you very much for hosting us Helen <3

A quirky, comfortable house, the big kitchen table watched over by two lion dogs safely on top of the dresser. Two sitting rooms, useful when you are a group of different ages and interests. A good folder of information. Some rooms have the view of the estuary bridge - arches lit up at night- that host Helen is understandably proud of. Her scones were lovely, and when we needed more seats outdoors more were provided. The walk - all pavement- into Malin village was just the right length for a stroll.

We travelled to Malin to have a holiday with our extended, blended family. There was lots of space and the three bathrooms were a bonus. Both living rooms were a great size and allowed lots of different board games to take place at the same time! There was a big outhouse where we could hang our wet suits and damp towels after a day at the beach. This was really useful. The washing machine and tumble dryer were also really helpful. The house is a short walk from Malin town with a footpath all the way to the centre and we shopped regularly in the centra there which was well stocked. Culfaff beach and five finger strand were really close and the kids loved the sand dunes on five finger strand. However our favourite beach was Kinnagoe Bay which is about 20 minutes away. It has beautiful scenery and the kids loved playing on the rocks. Helen was a wonderful host and had a pint of milk with butter, jam and fresh scones for our arrival. We’d definitely stay again!

Helen was amazing. From the first day that we arrived with fresh baked scones and jam to the day before checkout when there was an issue with the local water. Before we woke up she had dropped off the notification for us along with 2 jugs of water. We had friends and family staying at other places that had no clue about it until we told them. I love visiting our family in Donegal, but prefer not to drive. This can be hard in such a peaceful country village, but this location is within walking distance of Malin with a few small shops and a pub.
