肯特(Kent) · 联排别墅里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Beautiful 1930’s semi: Room 1 double en-suite room
This is my lovely 1930’s semi detached house in the historic and beautiful city of Canterbury. Parking available on my drive and I am a ten minute walk from the city centre with its world heritage sites and the Cathedral. I am also very close to both the UKC and CCCU. I offer four rooms to rent. There is a tea tray in all rooms, a guest microwave and fridge. Use of my garden. I can provide a desk in three of my rooms. This is a clean, comfortable, warm and friendly home. All welcome. This is a lovely en-suite double bedroom in my family house. It has its own bathroom with power shower (no bath) and also a balcony overlooking my garden.
Leigh is a welcoming and warm host, who made me feel immediately welcome and took an interest in my activities in Canterbury. Leigh had set up a table in the room so I could easily work on my computer as needed. I enjoyed my breakfast on the balcony each morning and the delightful garden views. Being at the rear of the house, the room is quiet at night. An easy pleasant 15 minute walk took me to Canterbury Cathedral and surrounds - great for it all to be so close but to leave behind the crowds at the end of the day. All up, a terrific stay.
Was eine schöne Stadt!
I really enjoyed my stay with Leigh. She was a lovely host and her knowledge about Canterbury was superb. I would encourage travellers to stay at Leigh's place, her rooms are very nice and tidy, and also very close to the Canterbury city centre. All in all, Leigh is a fantastic host and person!
St Stephen’s is a lovely residential area of Canterbury. There’s a Sixteenth Century pub with a lovely garden and nice food a three minute walk away. I’m surrounded by shortcuts to parks, stations, theatre and town. I’m from south east London so Canterbury offers a very different way of life! It really is very nice, friendly and interesting. I love living here.
Park on my drive and leave your car for the duration. Parking in Canterbury is extortionate. In places like Whitstable it’s nigh on impossible in the summer and it drives the residents crazy. It’s much nicer to see a bit of the countryside on the bus to places like Whitstable, Herne bay and Dover. And the trains are quick and simple too.
