Jd is a very responsive host and friendly. The house is what is described, a little quirky. It would be nice to have better entrance to the creek, especially with small kids that like to play. The back door is difficult to open and close. The house was very clean and ready for us when we arrived! We felt welcomed and enjoyed our time!

We travel from North Carolina to Knoebel's annually for a family reunion. I've been eyeing up this cute cottage for years, but typically it is reserved over our dates. This year we lucked out and it was the perfect spot for my family of 4. Super clean, comfortable, quaint, and inviting. Had everything we needed and more. We loved sitting in the backyard listening to the creek for some down time and my husband and 7 year old LOVED fishing in the creek. We also really enjoyed the easy walk to the park. Jd was great; extremely responsive and very helpful with all my questions. (Thank you!!) We hope to stay here every year and highly recommend this host/space!

Our stay in Creekside Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was adorable. The pictures did not do it justice. The house was clean. The creek right outside was the perfect atmosphere to relax in the morning before my gang woke. We picked up some tubes and riding down the creek was every bit as enjoyable as the water ride at Knoebles for my grandkids. The treats on the table and the note wishing my granddaughter a happy birthday were a welcome surprise. It was an easy walk to and from the park and saved us having to drive and park. It was hot the week we were there but the cottage stayed cool and comfortable. We love the area and have stayed different places but Creekside Cottage was by far our favorite. We definately hope to return.

We had a great time! The check-in was easy and he was communicating the whole day until we arrived. The snacks and extra tickets were also a great surprise when we walked in. So much to do for our little ones in the house before we headed to the park. Hope to be back again!
