The property is stunning and situated in an ideal location just off the motorway, allowing for easy access to many of the places we were looking to visit during our stay. Ample options for restaurants as well as shopping within a short drive. We never got bored of the views and enjoyed great weather throughout. As the property does not have AC and no fans were provided during our stay the interior of the property did get quite toasty (32 degC as per the thermostat) most evenings due to the large windows, although gorgeous, made sleeping at night quite uncomfortable (we understand that we stayed during an unusually warm period but England has seen warm periods more and more frequently over the years). If AC was installed or fans we provided to cool the bedrooms, I would stay at this property every single time I visit the North of England because it provides everything I am looking for otherwise. Fantastic property and such a kind and responsive owner that made our stay a delight.

Responsive host prior to visit. Beautiful setting. Stunning lodge which is bigger and better than the gorgeous photos online. Couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely return.

A luxury water front location that does everything it says on the tin! The views are stunning, the lodges are second to none with everything you need for a restful, peaceful and relaxing holiday. The lodges are appointed to a very high standard and has everything you need to make this a home from home. If you wanted to take a disposable BBQ, the decking lends itself very well. You do need a car for this holiday rental. Some beautiful places to see if you fancy a drive out, but equally just fabulous to stay and soak up the lake view from the inside or outside!

It’s amazing! Such a lovely and spacious lodge. The lake is so tranquil, great location to everything around the area.
