The house was very nice. Very comfortable beds and great pillows and blankets. Bedrooms descriptions were accurate and bedrooms worked well for us. It was odd that the description mentions a 3 season room and the photos show a screen porch but we did enjoy the 3 season room. Know that the 2nd full bath was in the semi-finished basement would have been nice but we made it all work. Plenty of kitchen equipment. The biggest drawback for us was a lack of information at the house pertaining to the house and the expectations. The single sheet of hand written notes has different information on it than what was provided in the email on Friday. Personally, have the owners put an updated visitor binder in house and provide all check and check out information to renters the day before their rental starts. That way the renters don't have to be checking email while on vacation.

The house on was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation. It was easy to find, easy to check in, and lots of space for our family to relax. The 3-season porch was perfect for having coffee in the morning, taking an afternoon nap, and family dinners. With little kids, swimming right at the house didn’t work great because of the rocky entrance to the water and mucky bottom, but we swam at 3 of the 6 local beaches that are all less than a 10min walk from the house (don’t have to put the littles in the car!). Cons: - low stocked house (there were 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1/2 a roll of paper towels when we arrived. When I contacted the host I was told they only provide a “starter pack”. He ordered more when I pushed back) - house instructions on top of the microwave are outdated so had to ask a lot of questions - no face cloths or hand towels, only 1 dish towel - no can opener or bottle opener - closets and drawers filled with junk Despite all this, we’d stay again!

We stayed for a second time at the house, and enjoyed it once again! It’s wonderful to be right next to the lake and we loved kayaking and using the fire pit. We hope to return again!

The0 lake front property was beautiful! The lake was so clean and quiet, I walked around the lake every morning with my baby in stroller. The new kitchen is awesome, the screened in porch was perfect. Note: not really a beach area and the yard is really more dirt with some long grass so there’s ants everywhere. Which is fine for adults but tough for young kids! Also make sure to look at bedroom set up! It worked out for us but a bunch of couples in those rooms would be tough. Overall I would recommend and Alan was so responsive and you really can’t beat the lake front location with a dock!
