Lorraine was very welcoming and it was good value for money. Only disappointment is how thin the walls are so if anyone else is staying its can be difficult. Would be lovely if shower was a bit stronger too.

Helen is a great host. Very helpful in every way. Goes the extra mile to help and accomidate any problems that might arise.

I stayed with Helen on the run-up to Christmas, as I was up in the Gateshead area doing a busy delivery job. Helen was the perfect host, even though my hours weren't the most host friendly. her place is very cosy and well-appointed - She'd even put on the electric blanket on in the bed, which was a lovely touch. Her dogs Frankie and Pedro are charming and super-well behaved. All round I had a great stay, and will be definitely staying again when I'm next up there!

Suits me just beautifully when I'm visiting Sunderland. Great host, nice room and very convenient for city centre and if the weather is rubbish like this morning, the metro service is just at the bottom of the street.
