Don’t hesitate, and just book this home! Our stay at Francesco’s flat in Lucca was perfect! Francesco met us at the front door, helped us with our luggage up the flights of stairs, and gave us recommendations for finding our family heritage in the area! The home was spacious for our family of 8. The furniture, art, and details in the home were such a special touch. Everything was comfortable, squeaky clean, and the views overlooking Lucca made it even better. The grocery store right downstairs was very convenient, and everything we wanted to see was a pleasant walking distance. Edwardo cooked us a DELICIOUS meal unique to Lucca in the beautiful, historic kitchen, after serving aperitifs on the terrace overlooking the Italian roofs! The dinner was outstanding and made our stay even more of a splendid experience! We loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Francesco and Edwardo!!!

Francesco was a very responsive and friendly host that went out of his way to accommodate our group of 11 (including a baby). He was quick to reach out in advance of our visit, and helpful with instructions and recommendations. The apartment is in the walled part of Lucca, so there is no parking at the apartment, but Francesco met us and enabled/escorted us to the apartment to drop off luggage. The apartment is in a very central location and close to shops, restaurants, piazzas, and all that beautiful Lucca has to offer. The rooms were comfortable and spacious (but note that it is a 3 story climb with no elevator.). We especially loved the delightful balcony and views. We wish we had more time - hopefully we’ll be back!

Franco is an exceptionally friendly and helpful human. Grateful to have met him and his place was fantastic. Excellently located within the walls of Lucca and close to everywhere you’d want to be while still providing some seclusion. Highly recommend.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut! Wir haben den Balkon, den gemütlichen Wohnbereich und die zentrale Lage sehr genossen. Direkt vor der Tür ist ein wunderbares Lokal und der Supermarkt ist im Hauskomplex, was sehr komfortabel war. Der Vermieter Francesco hat vor und während des Aufenthaltes uns mit wichtigen Informationen und Vermittlungen sehr geholfen. Ein absolutes Highlight war die cooking Lesson in der großen antiken Küche. Auch Stadtführungen auf kunsthistorischen Pfaden kann er vermitteln!! Es war ein wunderbarer und phantastischer Aufenthalt! Wir haben uns willkommen und sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!! Vielen Dank!!
