This was my second stay at Antique 1242, and it was even better than the first one (if that can be topped!). My friend Masha and I spent one night at Helen's during our visit to Hartford last weekend. The house is so beautiful and full of character, we both never wanted to leave. Helen is such an attentive hostess, she would anticipate our needs and wishes, and everything was offered before we asked. And what a heartwarming evening we had chatting with her by the fireplace... I will always remember that fondly! We admired Helen's husband's art - his amazing paintings and drawings - and, when I said I would like to buy the prints, Helen gave me a nice discount and a beautiful print of a painting of her own! In the morning the car and the driveway were covered with snow, but before we had to leave all was plowed and clean. Helen's husband even cleaned the car from snow and left it warming for us. Thank you for such a wonderful, fairytale-like weekend night, Helen! We'll be back :)

We stayed with Helen for 3 nights in her lovely home. We were in town to visit family and were so excited to find her B&B-we love historic Enfield. Helen is quick to respond and kindly accommodated our late check-in. We were very comfortable and always felt safe. Breakfast was delicious each morning. I love the fall season so I loved all of the beautiful fall decorations throughout the house. The temperature dropped over the weekend and Helen had a fire going when we returned for the day. We hope to return soon for another stay.

We had such an amazing stay with Helen. We stayed for our wedding weekend and her Airbnb was perfection. She let us use her Airbnb and the beautiful yard to have our first look and pictures with our bridal party and family. It was truly an amazing experience. We were able to bring our dogs and had a wonderful morning after breakfast made by Helen! Helen was so kind, friendly and made us feel right at home. We will absolutely be back to stay and highly recommend her home to stay but also an future photographical needs. It was picture perfect!
