Had a great family 5 day break over February half term with our teenage kids and in laws. Great walks on the doorstep. House itself was very cosy and well stocked - including a standalone slow cooker that was well used!

6 of us stayed for the weekend and had a great time in the house. The layout etc., was perfect for a hangout place for the weekend - log fire setup was perfect and it was really cosy and warm.

My family of 8 stayed mid-week and had a fantastic time. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge is very spacious for all of us. All the bedrooms are also very good size but we didn't find the beds as comfortable as others have reviewed. I like the character of the old building but there are a few things that didn't meet the mark for functionality. Mich is very helpful and always replied to messages in good time. All the information provided are found to be very helpful. Thank you very much for letting us stay.
