This is a lovely quiet spot to down tools and relax or to use as a base for many of the cultural excursions you can make in in Saumur area. The accommodation is clean and charming, the amenities are sufficient to allow for the cooking of simple meals for two, and with such wonderful local food available in the summer months, who needs to be complicated. Evenings on the large terrace, overlooking the grounds towards the Chateau are absolutely perfect. We took our big Red and White Irish Setter, he was allowed to run and play on the extensive lawn. I recommend this to anyone looking for an idyllic spot in the countryside. Don't expect city chic, this is country living, it has its quirks but it wouldn't be half so charming if it didn't. Your hostess is friendly and approachable, however, you will have the freedom to come and go without the sense that you're obliged to inform her of your movements. Perfect for those of us who enjoy being spontaneous.

Charming gîte in the grounds of a beautiful small château. Quirky and delightful, this is a lovely little place. Dog friendly and quiet, very relaxed. Its a very adequate space for two, lots of character, with french windows, plenty of light and sunny terrace and inside, a sofa and a comfortable bed. Basic cooking facilities but everything you need with small fridge/freezer and oven/hotplate. Friendly owner on hand if need be. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Accueil agréable, lieu paisible et reposant. Prooche des vignobles de saumur, de saint Nicolas de bourgueil et de bourgueil. Halte idéale pour un moment tranquille. Logement 1 pièce très agréable et bien aménagée. Ne convient pas (pour nous en tout cas) aux jeunes parents avec un bébé qui aurait besoin d’un espace privée et sombre pour s’endormir. Les propriétaires ont étés très à l’écoute pour des réaménagement futurs. Nous recommandons ce magnifique domaine !
