Pet-friendly, just make sure your four-legged friends keep a safe distance from our animals if they get excited. North-facing views, fully stocked kitchen. You may be woken by roosters and natural light. Expect working tractors, shuffling pigs, and breathe in the sweet farm air whilst taking in the sweeping views. Open Concept Farm Cottage - Alison has created a beautiful, spacious place to stay full of rustic furnishings, vintage décor, stunning windows and timbers, and sturdy, timeless pieces. All the modern amenities within a country-style space.

Amazing farmhouse, filled with rustic charm accented with luxury touches such as linen bedding and both an internal and external bathtub:)) The location is stunning, with beautiful birdlife (including the fattest magpies I have ever seen, galahs and sulphur crested white cockatoos). A very relaxing country stay for 2 nights. I could easily have stayed for a week or more. The host, Gregory is extremely friendly, easy going and full of relaxed country charm. He took us on a tour of the scenic property after our arrival and introduced us to the Dexter cows, accompanied by kelpies Tom and Max. The farm manager Patch is also very friendly and available to answer any questions. My daughter and I will definitely return!

A very large barn conversion, shabby chic, boho, vintage in design with everything available to enjoy your stay. Beautiful location, off the beaten track but still accessible to the local towns of northern NSW. Extremely peaceful, a romantic get away, even if I was only there with my 4 legged, boy!! Very much enjoyed our stay!
A beautiful location, the middle shed was so cute and rustic, exactly like photos and the linen, bed and toiletries were top quality. Patch was a perfect host, there if needed but didn’t intrude at all. Perfect getaway for me and my dogs. Hard to pick which was the best, the rain on the tin roof or the cows at the back fence. I recommend this to anyone who wants a beautiful break in the country.
What an incredible spot this was. Words won’t do it justice but the house and surroundings are beautiful. Thank you to Patch and his partner who were super friendly and chill, and we had a good time checking out the animals too 😎

Goonengerry is a small suburb - a peaceful, farm-filled area high up in the Byron Bay Hinterland. Positioned within a close drive of Byron Bay, Bangalow, and Mullumbimby we have access to so many wonderful activities to suit any lifestyle including beaches, cafes, water sports and whale watching, boutique stores, scenic walks and hikes, local produce, an abundance of restaurants and cafes, long drives, a diverse music and arts scene and above all, a resilient, welcoming community of unique people.
This area is ideal for a long-term stay, set just far enough away in the Hinterland to provide peace and quiet but close enough to and abundance of familiar amenities that you'd need to settle down and fall into a homely rhythm.
There is ample parking as we have a long driveway and a large expanse of land. There are some rough surfaces en route to our farm so it's great if you have a four-wheel drive or similar, but not necessary. Access to Federal is limited at present following landslides during the devastating floods earlier this year. Using a map on your phone would be a great help as there are many twists and turns on these regional roads but all in all it is very straight-forward and well-signed to access main highways and the surrounding suburbs. Mullumbimby is 20 minutes away. Byron Bay and Bangalow are 30 minutes away. Other suburbs of interest include Brunswick Heads, Burringbar, Eltham, Newrybar, Lennox Head, Ballina, and Lismore - all within 45 minutes. Parking rates and/or time limits apply on the main roads throughout most of these suburbs, look for signs.
