A real gem of a place to stay. Very accessible not too far off the A74. From the moment you pull in the drive Violetta welcomed us and told us what we needed to know. We then walked to The Station and had a good supper before returning and enjoyed putting the world to rights with another guest staying and Marcus and Violetta. Love it when you visit a home and people's passions are put into the place and this is no where more true than here. Fascinating memorabilia, cheerful well thought through decor, in peaceful surroundings. We will be back xx

Lovely place, lovely interesting hosts - what’s not to like ? Beautiful house and interesting on the inside with lots of things to look at and do. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again - throughly recommended.

Pleasant place in beautiful location, very interesting and pleasing decor, friendly hosts. Wasn’t too thrilled taking shoes off each time we entered, but understand why. Would have liked real butter for my toast, but certainly not a deal breaker. Thanks for having us. Sandra and Paul.
