We had a great stay at the Comfy Cottage! The owners included a book full of local recommendations including everything we needed to know about the cottage and the surrounding area. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed (including coffee!). It's October, so we weren't sure if the kayaks would be available, but they still were. It's a quiet neighborhood and easily walkable down a sidewalk into town. The master bedroom even had a small attached bath (toilet and sink) which I didn't realize from the original description, so that was a bonus for us! Hosts were super responsive when I had questions before we arrived. The backyard is beautiful and we were able to see lots of deer in the evenings and mornings. It's very close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire Bluff Trail (highly recommend), Glen Arbor, and other area attractions. Highly recommend this cottage!

We had a great time! Perfect location and great amenities! Beautiful in the fall and hope to be able to come back to experience it in the summer!

This was a lovely cottage. I liked all the items we could use. There was plenty to do. I liked the cute, vintage style. It could fit everyone. The private dock was so peaceful and lovely. We saw two deer near the dock. Overall they did a good job.

Cute little cabin with all the amenities you could need. It was our first vacation with our one year old and thankfully they had a baby gate. The back yard was secluded and perfect for campfires. The walk back to the dock was short and well maintained. Overall it was a great experience.

A wonderful little cottage. You can clearly see the care and effort that has been put into it. The walk down to the water was beautiful, and we really appreciated being able to kayak and paddleboard on the lake. My son spent a lot of time in/on the water. The location was perfect for us... walkable/bike-able to Empire and very easy to get to Sleeping Bear. I saw a few comments on the comfort of the beds in the feedback, and decided to go with it anyway. That's the one area I see for improvement... the beds were not very comfortable. Also we happened to be there during some warmer days, and struggled a little to cool down the cottage. Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay in a beautiful and peaceful location.
