Nice cosy place with a beautiful location in the Lake District. We booked 2 nights and the communication and information from the host was top notch! However there were a few things that could have been better. We only had enough milk for 1 cup of tea, would be better to have a cupboard where we can stock up seeing as it’s all self service. The room smelled of dog. We ourselves stayed here with our dog who suffers from allergies and with the carpet only being hoovered and not steamed cleaned he had a really bad reaction. To make this clear the bathroom etc was clean. I think also the smell is coming from the carpet.

If you are looking for a peaceful place, away from any kind of noise or hustle/bustle, then this is the place for you. Megan & Josh are proactive and respond quickly to any questions. The room was exactly as in the photos, with a clean bathroom. Comfortable and cozy.
