This was the first vacation we've taken with our two little ones, and Jeff & Angie's place couldn't have been better. Angie communicated with us before the trip, gave us tons of info to help ease us getting there and checking in, and were there when we pulled in. The cabins were so family friendly that we never questioned if our kids were safe, and each night ended with all the familes around the fire pit together while all the kids played. They had tons of options to borrow to enjoy the lake right there, and the cabins were stocked so well that all we had to bring was food. The location is great too for exploring the U.P. We will be booking again next time we head up north.
Our family of 5 stayed in cabin 7a, it worked but was a bit of a tight squeeze. It was nice that all three kids got a bed and didn't have to share. We'll have to come back some time during the summer so we can enjoy all the outdoor amentias available.
We had such a wonderful time! There is a small beach with kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boats and other water toys. The lake is beautiful. We met a lot of other nice families. This was such a special place and we hope to be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay at the UP Sunrise Resort in cottage 7a. It was a great location for a wedding we were attending. Cottage is true to pictures and very clean. Great place for kids! Angie and Jeff are awesome!

Hi, we are the Martin family! Jeff & Angie and our 4 kids have been running UP Sunrise Cottages in Little Lake for one year, as of May 2022! We are excited to host your family! We are not true born-and-raised Yoopers, but all four of our children are, and you can tell by the way they put on their swimsuits and go play in the snow when the sun comes out and it breaks 45 degrees in the spring. After spending 16 years working with teenagers in the local area, we decided our family was ready for a new adventure, so we purchased the Northern Lights resort from our friends, the Hipskys. The resort is in a beautiful location, with a beach and 300 feet of lakefront on Farmer Lake. Looking across the lake toward the east, we get some beautiful sunrises above the trees. We are excited to be able to spend time at this gorgeous property, and look forward to sharing it with our guests! Whether you want to relax and enjoy the peaceful lakefront, play on our Aquapark and use our fleet of boats, or take advantage of the area’s many attractions, we are sure this spot is going to be wonderful for your family!
