This place is amazing! We loved Little Lake. I kayaked daily. Kids swam, aqua park-ed, paddle boarded, played on the floating and stationary docks. Then on the grounds, our kids ran around with new friends, rode bikes, played on the playground, hit a tether ball, and pushed pool balls in outdoor carpet-ball. We each had our own private cabins and then played outside together. Great kitchen, clean bathroom, comfy beds, good tables to eat together inside or outside, warm at night in the cabin for a cool UP night. Another guest described it as neighborhood friends playing in the street together meets summer camp.

Best family vacation we have ever had! We travel often looking for unique, nature-based experiences and UP Sunrise Cottages is now at the top of our list. We don’t typically return to the exact same place but we are already planning on making this our new family tradition. We were very impressed with Angie and her amazing family. They go above and beyond to make this place special. The cottages are clean, cozy and quiet. The kitchen is the most well-stocked we have ever seen. We cooked every meal at the cabin or on a fire pit and had every supply we needed. The kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boats were free for guests to use. Watching our grandkids play on the aqua park and make fast friends with other kids was truly magical. If they were awake, they were in the lake or riding bikes on the paved roads. Our 9-year-old grandson is rarely without a tablet in hand so watching him transform into a happy kid that spent every moment playing and laughing was the best gift ever.

Perfect family vacation. Cottages are modest but met every need comfortably. The weather was perfect & we spent every minute in the beautiful lake on the obstacle course, kayaking or paddle boarding (All provided with our reservation). At first I thought they were a bit overbearing with “the rules” but upon arrival I realized it was just to ensure we (and all guests) enjoyed all available to us. I think my kids will make sure we stay here again!

Don’t hesitate to book here! Owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and stress free. Bring your food supplies and the kitchen will accommodate for meal prep and supplies. Know that you have hosts that are available. Enjoy the sunrise on your deck, on the beach or simply from the living room area.

Description was accurate. Really nice, rustic place to stay when in the UP, whether with kids, as a group, or solo. Hosts were available and accommodating. Really nice to be able to stay with our kids and dogs and feel the environment was safe for both. Would stay again. Easy drive to Marquette.
