My wife and I stayed at Neil & Kryssy’s while in town for a class reunion. Check-in could not have been easier, and the room was just as described and was immaculate. Our room was close to great restaurants, a tavern, and a great little bakery that was across the street. A bonus was finding out that the Catskill Creek was right nearby as well. Our room was comfortable and was a great place to relax and rest up during our hectic weekend. Neil & Kryssy are great hosts whose place helped make our weekend even more relaxing.

So...... where should I start, well lets just say..... the stay would have so much better if there was heat in the room. The only heat was from the humming refrigerator that ran the entire time we were in the room. When I called to get some assistance, "there is no one here to help"............ REALLY??? "Let me see if i can get a space heater for you". Then the claim is that someone came and knocked on the door two times with no answer........ Ahh... Hello??!! If someone is calling and complaining about heat, i guess the e-mail address that you had on the itinerary..... Oh wait, what about the phone??? No one can call?? Not even going to start about the lumpy bed, or the microwave that i would have to get on my hands and knees to use... The tea light candles that didnt work..... The refrigerator that ran and hummed in the room all night. What about the cracked glass on the desk, no reinvest to you rooms?? Funny, when i ran a hotel in NYS, i checked everything in the room, everything!

The property was as advertised. It was comfortable. We appreciated the very quick action from the owners to fix a couple of small items at the rental property after we texted. There is a diner that is a very short distance from the location on the main street, which serves a great breakfast and a tavern right in front of the property with good food that is associated with the rental property.

Neil & Kryssy deliver on what they promise. The room couldn’t have been cleaner or more comfortable. It is easy to find and, if you are exploring the area, centrally located. A local diner opens at 7 and bakery at 8. This is our second time staying here and should we return we hope a room will be available.
