We had a good week here mostly on account of the peaceful setting of Auroville. The studio itself isn’t a “New Flat” as described although well laid out, compact and perfect for our stay. It does have a door to an extension where at one point someone else was staying. The AC and super comfortable bed, lovely layout and washroom were other pluses. However the kitchen is very basic and fine if you’re going to mainly eat out. The lack of organised housekeeping was the big miss for us as none was offered during our 6 day stay. Other bits like fresh towels had to be requested and were given. I think that’s what future guests could keep in mind - ask and you should receive :)

Suresh & Vinith were extremely professional and accommodating throughout my stay. I would really recommend this apartment set up, it’s spacious and exceeded all my needs. They provide unlimited free RO drinking water & cleaning service every few days (as needed). They even rented an e-bike to me on-site at a reasonable daily/monthly rate, helped me get a SIM card for my phone & gave me a useful map. The only concern was the constant coaching on proper waste disposal, it was uncomfortable when the cleaners came as I felt they were reporting me to the principal instead of just cleaning the very small amount of dry items I may have accidentally put in the wrong trash can in the kitchen. For the premium price and low occupancy they currently have I would expect people to do their job in a more grateful way (this is in reference to the cleaners not the office staff). Suresh & Vineth and other office staff are almost always there in the office or accessible by phone to offer their support and their service was exceptional. The overall location is ideal, just a short bike or walk away from several eateries like Ganesh bakery, La Maison (which also delivers in less than 5-10 mins) and others, it is also very easy to find from the main road.

Great property, clean and comfortable rooms. Amenities are exactly as promised, the hosts were fantastic and very accommodating. Defenitely recommend this to anyone on a short / long visit to Auroville
