We loved Neil’s cottage. It was perfect for our multigenerational group. The swimming was great. The beds were super comfy. Kitchen is well stocked. The house is bright and spotless. Wifi was solid with a great connection and a very strong signal, something that people working remotely really appreciated. The basketball hoop and lawn games were also a big hit. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week at Neil's cottage mid July. This is a simply lovely spot. Very private location with extremely well kept grounds. The cottage is quite nice inside, very clean and offering comfortable space + everything needed is in the kitchen. Spent most of our time either down at the water or on the gorgeous deck. Waterfront was exactly what we were looking for - easy access, gradual entry, no weeds and a floating raft. Perfect for those with both two and four legs! Communication with Neil was great, everything was clearly laid out and any questions were answered promptly. We'd definitely like to return.

What a gem of a place! Neil gave amazing, helpful information, the place was well-stocked, and the cottage was incredibly clean. Very well-located place on a gorgeous lake (clearly a popular lake, especially on weekends). Lots to do together, no matter the weather. We were in a group of 10 for some of our stay, and there was lots of seating and space (and dishes) for everyone. We even saw northern lights from the dock. Everyone just kept saying what a great place it was. 10/10 - we would definitely love to keep coming back.

We would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a getaway. It charmed us from the moment we got there and has been so well maintained. Neil made us feel welcome and was available should we have needed anything. This rental has something for everyone with plenty of spaces to sleep if you have an extended family. The main floor bedroom is convenient for the older people in your group with three more options on the second level and sleeping space in the beautiful lower level area. The lake is beautiful and the location is exceptional with sunset views. The property has been well planned out with a gorgeous dock and sitting area to enjoy those cottage experiences. There is an enormous deck which is an extension of the cottage and has a view through the trees to the lake. We enjoyed coffee there in the morning and drinks in the evening and there is even a covered section for days when it’s a bit rainy. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and swimming off the platform. We spent a day in Wakefield which is a short drive away and has cute little shops and patios to explore. If you are looking for a cottage with a high charm factor then this the one for you.
