We had an absolutely wonderful time at Blue Heron Cottage. The lake was so peaceful, the location was beautiful, and the cottage was immaculately well kept. The swimming at the cottage’s shore wasn’t the best, but the recommended island (15 mins by kayak, which I enjoyed much more than I expected!) more than made up for it with a picturesque little hidden beach that we can’t recommend enough. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful week at the Blue Heron. Our teen girls loved the paddle boards, the water mat, and the peddle boat. They also really loved the old school swing. :) There was enough room in the bedrooms (bunk beds) for them each to bring a friend at different points during our week which they enjoyed. We loved the nightly campfires (lots of wood provided), and loved taking the zero gravity chair to the end of the dock to look at the stars when nights were clear. It was magical! The lake was quieter than most lakes that we have been on, even on the weekend which was nice. We were even treated to someone else's fireworks. It was a lovely week!

Great cottage, very clean with lots of amenities. Lots of entertainment indoors and outside. Nice big waterfront, quiet and scenic. The waterfront isn't really sandy and there's no public beach in the area, so just something to keep in mind if you have small kids keen on that sort of thing. The island has a slightly better mini sandy beach if you don't mind boating there, but only fits a couple boats and could be popular on a hot day.

This is the 3rd time at Nathalie’s cottage and it was as perfect as the first two times. We will book again for sure!

Always a pleasure staying at Nathalie’s cottage. Kids loved skating on the lake, sledding, roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit. Nathalie’s cottage is in pristine condition and extremely clean. Can’t wait to go back!
