When you initially get to the location, the staining on the house seems to have been power washed a bit harshly, but once you're inside it's great! Main living space is a bit small, but well kept and cared for. Bedrooms were spacious and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows to pick from. Bathrooms were clean with a tub/shower on the first floor and a powder room situation on the second floor. We didn't get to use the fire pit, but it's nice to have the option when it's less rainy. The location is nice if you want to be a good distance from people, but that means a bit of a drive to the main town of Watkins Glen. Not too much of a drive, 15 min or so, but something to consider depending on your car situation and what you're looking for. Only problem we had was the lack of a washer/dryer, but there is a Laundromat in Watkins Glen if the need arises. Overall, very nice place that I'd go to again if I were in the area.

Perfect spot for a girls weekend if hiking in the Watkins Glen area! Darlene's place was comfy and clean and perfect to rest our tired bodies after our hiking adventures.

Great place to stay close to Watkins Glen state park and not too far from all the various hikes in Ithaca as well. The place was clean and we were more than comfortable during our two night stay.

We had a great stay! Everything was as described, the place was clean, and located perfectly between Keuka and Seneca Lakes! Perfect place to stay for our long weekend in the FLX!

Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet and well-equipped house - exactly what we were looking for when visiting the area with our two adult children to see friends in Tyrone for Christmas. Probably would have felt the same with even two more guests, especially with the upstairs half bathroom. Did not make use of the back porch, back yard, living room and all the amenities therein, but they seemed well-appointed - well done Darlene!
