a ruined vacation! Day 1: We came off season and we strongly advice anyone coming off-season NOT to stay in the property Outside T during the day 12-14 C (about 47F) and around 7-8 C at night (40F) A) No Wifi: needed to tether my phone to conduct important Zoom calls for work B) no warm water for a shower C) no heat (established at 8 pm) but since the whole apartment complex was empty due to low season the walls, floors, ceiling, had so cold that the tiny 1 m2 heaters couldn’t battle the 500 m2 of cumulative cold stone At night we took turns to heat up a blanket over the heater every 2 h to get at least a little warm Day 2: A) wife worked at lunch time B) still no hot water for a shower at lunch time C) place finally reached a T that was comfortable D) washing machine didn’t work in the afternoon due to lack of sufficient water E) in the evening warm water was finally restored F) we cooked dinner and I just poured water into the sauce I had been cooking for the spaghetti when my wife right afterward filled up the water pot - only to get FOUL SMELLING YELLOW WATER…., we had to throw away our dinner and since restaurants had been closing right around this time we had been left with a few left over cold cuts this evening G) heating went off at 8 pm and the room T dropped rapidly, thankfully before it became ice cold again heating restored at 10 pm Day 3: A) warm water worked fine for the first person taking a shower but insufficient for the second person We decided to leave. The host called all those issues “Minor Inconvenience” and insisted the water is safe to drink and outside T are just fine and heating is really not needed in most cases ….and to add to the comment another Airbnb guest left. You cannot use the garage unless you drive one of those tiny shoeboxes, look at the damage the cars left behind on the main pillars and the garage door it gives you a sense how many tried

Die Wohnung von Annalisa ist sehr zu empfehlen, die Lage ist optimal, nahe zur Altstadt und zum Strand, auch Bars und kleine Supermärkte sind zu Fuß problemlos zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung, im Oktober ist es sehr ruhig. Annalisa ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin und bei Fragen ist innerhalb einer Stunde mit einer Antwort zu rechnen. Die Tiefgarage ist allerdings bereits für mittelgroße Fahrzeuge zu eng, so dass wir auf der Straße parken mussten, in der Hochsaison täglich und im Oktober am Wochenende gebührenpflichtig (15€/Tag). Sperlonga ist ein wunderbarer Ferienort und in der Nachsaison für Familien sehr zu empfehlen.

Annalisa's place was perfect for a Sperlonga beach visit. It was clean and comfy and only a short walk from town, the beach, restaurants, etc. The included beach spot with umbrella and chairs made things super easy! Communication regarding the reservation and check-in was top notch as well. We would definitely stay here again.
