Meadow View Log Cabin MeadowView Log Cabin offers a relaxing meadow and pond view surrounded by mountain vistas on 10 acres. This quaint, lovely cabin will sleep four guests comfortably. Main level bedroom offers queen bed. Loft accessed by ladder offers queen platform bed. The greatroom offers gas log fireplace, Smart TV, efficiency kitchen and dining table. WIFI added 3/2022 Picnic beside pond on the property. Quaintly situated on 10 acres with large pond, firepit and 2 similar log cabins. Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway making it great for cycling, motorcycles or hiking the Mountain to Sea trail. Efficiency style kitchen includes full size refrigerator, build in cook top, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, cookware and dishes. The bathroom is fully stocked with fresh linens and a hairdryer.The cabin is air conditioned with ceiling fans and cathedral ceilings, heat, gas log fireplace keeps the cabin warm and cozy on chilly nights. The living room includes Smart TV for streming and reliable WIFI. Sleeps 4: 2 queen beds PET FREE Cabin. My family and I enjoyed a weekend away from home. The place was cozy, but I do recommend if you can, to bring your own bedding set. The ones there smelled like they hadn’t been washed and there was only one set. Overall it was a good experience and we loved spending our time there!

The place is very clean, charming, and cozy. The porch (and porch swing) are a lot of fun to sit at in the evenings. The pond is tranquil. We were not able to find the hot tub mentioned in the check-in instructions. The entire region is in a hole in Verizon's 4G LTE network (check out the coverage map), causing our 3rd party Visible provider to be totally inoperable, so you may want to download maps, check weather, and obtain anything you'd like to have access to before coming (getting away from the internet was nice). West Jefferson is a beautiful town with stunning views and plenty of amenities, and hiking stone mountain is breathtaking.
