Absolutely perfect! Felt very comfortable and cozy and the location with the view of the ocean was soo nice ! So close to so many great hikes and adventures! We can't wait to stay again!

Absolutely loved this little gem off of the Cabot Trail! Super easy to find, to check in and out of. Has everything I needed to cook/clean and stay entertained. There was a great booklet of local hikes they would suggest as well as information for local rentals (kayak etc) and numbers of those locations. Strongly recommend! Tiniest downside is that the driveway is very steep. However, not really an issue for my personal vehicle F150–was just grateful I hadn’t rented a fancy car for the stay-cation 🥰. Otherwise, 100% recommend!

? Staying at this cottage was a pleasure. We were there before, during, and after Hurricane Lee and felt secure and looked after the whole time. Sylvia and Jen were responsive and helpful and their "Local's Guide" is full of useful and practical information. The kitchen is well and thoughtfully equipped. The towels are fluffy and the bed is comfortable. The deck offers a nice view of the cove. The location in New Haven is a few steps off the busy Cabot Trail so it's peaceful yet conveniently close to the National Park and local hiking trails. The cottage has all the conveniences but also the charm and personality of this part of Cape Breton, which makes it truly special. '

LOVED the cottage. It was cozy and quiet and had everything we needed. I live in a very rural area, so I felt right at home. Loved the view of the harbor and the lobster nets! The only challenge for us was the driveway. We arrived after dark and it was a little tricky to navigate our way up to and into the property.
